Philosophy

We want to assist in discovering what those choices are or seeking out other choices.

We understand that no one is broken. No one needs to be fixed there are just different choices to be made. We listen to people and find out where they are, where they want to be, and then give them the resources to build a bridge that works for them. We empower people to build their bridge.

History
Our one-on-one coaching services teach skills to help individuals define and achieve their personal and professional goals. We help them recondition their inner guidance system, clarify their unique styles, and nurture their innate skills, abilities, and potential to manage relationships better and transform them into their best selves.

We know that unlearning behaviors, biases, and familial miseducation about others impact what we desire to achieve. The Folke Institute strives to rewire brains to understand the benefits of multiculturalism and inclusiveness as they participate in society as workers, family members, caretakers, and community members.
Our Identity
Folke (Swedish for "Folk"): the people of a society or region considered as the representatives of a way of life, and as the originators or carriers of the customs, beliefs, and practices comprising a distinctive culture. The Folke Institute is therefore the People's Institute.
Our Emblem
The Baobab is also known as the Tree of Life. The Baobab tree, native to Africa is known for its longevity and vitality. Every unique part of the tree serves a purpose: leaves for medicine, bark for fabric, fruit for food, and trunk, shelter for people and animals alike.
Our Logo
A radiant array of individual parts, unified in an implicitly infinite circular form, in perspective. The composition has dynamic depth and potential, while the all-inclusive spectral cycle speaks to progression, acceptance, and transformation.
