What to Expect

When you contact the Folke Institute, we won't just recite a list of our services. Partnering with you, Carrie will explore your needs, gather information, and set a follow-up consultation. Then she'll send a proposal -- a "blueprint" of how you might work together. When you work with us, you're part of our team.

Our Approach

The Folke Institute's work centers around what we call The Three A's:

  • Analysis - Analysis is more than asking questions. It's about asking the RIGHT questions. We'll determine your needs and gather information. We'll look at best practices and examine the culture and history of your organization.

  • Assessment - A cultural audit will be performed along with one-on-one and group interviews, and document our findings.

  • Action - Then, we take action. We'll provide you with recommendations on training, coaching or any variety of services to benefit you and your organization.

We specialize in transformative learning -- active, rather than passive, learning that results in changed behavior and individual empowerment.


Sometimes, when you are dealing with a challenge, you may only be able to see the visible aspects of your issue -- the tip of the iceberg. We look below the surface, beneath the waterline, and identify the root of your challenges.
